Bill Wiley serves as an Associate Broker with OakCrest Commercial Real Estate. He is also the Business Development Manager for Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc. As a Broker in Virginia with 14 years of real estate industry experience, his extensive property interests include acquisition-development of land, design-build solutions of commercial construction and tax credit opportunities.
Prior to joining OakCrest Commercial Real Estate, Wiley served in many different areas of the real estate industry. For six years, he was co-owner of The Virginia Companies LLC, a residential building-development company that served the Northern Shenandoah Valley. He was responsible for entitling several subdivisions and constructing homes. Also during those six years, he was a sales agent with ERA OakCrest Residential Real Estate. Wiley then served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Lantz Construction of Winchester. He identified $50M of construction opportunities readied for underwriting. Most recently, Wiley worked for the non-profit group, People Incorporated of Virginia sighting potential $4M plus tax-credit sites for affordable housing opportunities.
Wiley attended George Mason University where he graduated with a Masters in Education and a Bachelors of Science in Economics. He serves as an elected City Council Member for the City of Winchester. Previously he served as a Board Member of the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley and as Chairman of the City of Winchester Planning Commission. In addition, he served on the Vestry for Christ Episcopal Church.
